At S.O.A.R. Child Care and Youth Services, we understand the importance of high-quality, accessible childcare and youth programs, especially in underserved areas. We offer a range of early learning and out-of-school time programs designed to foster cognitive and behavioral growth.
We know that parenting can be challenging, especially for teen parents, which is why we offer specialized services and resources to help you navigate this journey. Our personalized sessions and workshops are crafted to address your unique needs and questions, creating a supportive community where you’re not alone.
Mission
The mission of S.O.A.R (Support, Opportunities, Academics and Recourses) Child Care and Youth Services is a non-profit organization that offers exceptional early learning and out-of-school time enrichment programs in underserved areas, fostering holistic support for children, families, and our community. Our aim is to provide high quality childcare services to our families while also enhancing community cohesion through various workshops, mentorship opportunities, and personalized sessions with parents, ensuring optimal cognitive and behavioral growth for their children. Furthermore, we offer essential resources to ensure the health and safety of all children under our care.

Early Learning
Our child care centers Promotes school readiness for children birth to 5 years of age. Program Includes: Early Head Start, Head Start and GSRP classrooms. Approved state curriculum is Creative Curriculum
Out of School Time Programs
We partner with Caterpillar Corner Out of School time program. The program enhances and reinforces learning for students K-6th. Hosted on school campuses or community sites Includes: Homework assistance, STEAM, Youth development and Enrichment.
Family Resources
Diaper Bank provides monthly diaper supply for families, Host parenting workshops, Financial Scholarships for working/In-School mothers and fathers needing assistance paying for Before and After school care (Must be denied by MDHHS)
